Motivation Needs Profile
A self-assessment based on three motivation needs: autonomy, competence, and relatedness.
What this measures
Autonomy
Feeling that you have meaningful choice and ownership.
Competence
Feeling capable, effective, and able to make progress.
Relatedness
Feeling connected, supported, and part of something with others.
How it works
12 statements using a 5-point Likert scale.
Each statement belongs to one dimension. Some items are reverse-scored to reduce one-direction answering.
Dimension averages are converted to a 0 to 100 profile score.
Important note
CurioLab assessments are for learning and self-reflection. They are not medical or psychological diagnosis.
Your result is a snapshot, not a permanent label.
Science behind this
Inspired by self-determination theory.

Use the 5-point scale for each statement. There are no right answers. The result is a dimensional profile for self-reflection, not a diagnosis.
